Q. How long does the work take?

A. Clearly this depends on the size of the works but generally a single garage takes 12 days, an ensuite to bedroom conversion takes about 17 days, a full double conversion with en-suite and kitchen about 5 weeks.

Q. Are you a general Builder.

A. Definitely not. We only specialise in Garage Conversions. It’s all we do. However we have vast expertise in major knock throughs and wall removals to facilitate any conversion.

Q. Can you match our existing windows?

A. Yes we can. Unlike most small builders we buy direct from an actual manufacturer. So matching existing profiles is not an issue

Q. Do you just work from a mobile phone?

A. No we don’t. We have a small office which is manned and a mainline number.  From our office we organise our Clients projects and maintain accurate records of Building Regulation, Planning Applications and our work diary. We are always available to talk to.

Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?

A. Yes, we do ask for a small deposit which reflects our planning to commit to you a works commencement date and our pre- ordering of made to measure windows.

Q. Do you use a local Architect to draw up plans if planning is required?

A. No we don’t, we found many years ago that Architects over engineered the drawings required for a garage conversion resulting in higher prices and found the time taken was far too long in submitting to the local authority. We now, after CAD training some 10 years ago undertake our own drawings in house and we can have a full set of plans submitted in one week. We have a 100% track record in securing planning permissions for Garage Conversions.

Q. Do you have insurance?

A. Yes we do. We also have All Builders Risk insurance, a must for any Builder.

Q. How do I pay you and what records are kept?

A. We only ask you for payment against invoices we e-mail to you and against our agreed schedules between us. On payment to us you will receive a receipt from our office. There is no confusion.
